Eyes-to-Toes Pose Coaching

Warning: Shocking revelation ahead.

There is a lot more to sexy posing than just saying —

“Lay there. Look sexy.”

I would wager we’ve all already tried that.

The bad news is that it’s a little difficult to do it by yourself, because it’s subtle, and you kind of need to see what you’re doing.

The good news is that it isn’t that difficult.

The best news is that your partner will not notice if you’re posing incorrectly and if you’re having a boudoir session where the stakes are higher, I offer Eyes-to-Toes-Pose Coaching.

So in all honestly, this is just for fun. :)

Here are tips to keep in mind when you’re trying to portray a sensual, sexual, divine being.

1. Arch your back. Always.

Slouching isn’t sexy. It never was. And if I were a betting woman, I’d bet that it never will be. If your posture is lacking, try a corset. It’ll make sure your back is straight as an arrow!

2. Point your toes.

Pointing your toes makes your legs look longer, and gives your calf muscles definition. The longer the leg looks the better. Pair it with nude pumps and a high leg cut on your panty or a shorty short to make the legs appear as long as possible. Gently bend the knees of the leg closest to the viewer (or the leg on top if you’re lying on your side) and aim for your ankles to kiss.

3. Shoulders back and down.

If your shoulder’s are hunched up, they’re making your neck seem shorter than it really is — and a long neck is a sexy neck. If your trying to turtle your head, ask yourself if it’s because you’re trying to take up less space. Take up as much space as you need to (all the time). Drop those shoulders down.

4. Watch the angles, accentuate curves.

Make sure that your angles (elbows and knees) aren’t pointing directly at your viewer. This gives a really blunted affect where you can’t see the length of the limb. Whenever possible accentuate curves. This could mean lifting up your booty by moving your hips up if you’re lying down, or moving one leg gently over top of the other to show off curvy hips and a nice booty if you’re standing up.

In all seriousness, there is nothing to worry about.

All you need to do is show up. Think of me as your modeling coach -- no practices need to be held.

Just listen to my simple instructions such as "chin down a little," "look up a bit," "and move your left shoulder back -- there you go."

They're all easy. You may feel silly at first, but I will guide you into the most flattering poses. I’ll also create a lighting environment to make sure that every sexy curve is captured.

Feel free to come with any ideas of poses you'd love to try if there is a specific pose that you want to try out. I love to play around!

All of the women you see at Cherry Tree Boudoir are regular women, not professionals.
